Since 2017, we have been partnering with Elijah House Academy, which provides Christ centered learning for children in South Richmond. We have supported them in their annual fall festival, we have helped them with removal of an old playground and landscaping the new one, and we have been a scholarship partner. Other opportunities including tutoring, library aid, providing school supplies and more. Since 2012, Cornerstone has gathered together to pack over 81,000 meals to support the Rise Against Hunger organization (formerly Stop Hunger Now), whose mission "to end hunger in our lifetime by providing food and life-changing aid to the world’s most vulnerable and creating a global commitment to mobilize the necessary resources." We feel that their mission is in line with our desire to fulfill Jesus' call for his sheep to love Him, love each other, and to love the world.
